Dear Friends,

After much consideration and reflection I am proud to announce that I am a candidate for the Placentia City Council. I ask for your support in the upcoming election.

For nearly twenty years I have lived in Placentia and watched it grow from a small town to a developing city. However, I am deeply concerned about the current state of our city.

Over the past few years less than constructive choices have left the city in a recovery state that may last for years to come.  The state of the city teeters on pending results from financial audits and outstanding debts. To make matters worse the national economy has weakened in the interim. Placentia needs leaders who think things through before making a choice and I believe I am one of those leaders.

My goals as a council member would include:

•Keep the interests of the citizens of the city first and foremost

•Keep Public Safety a top priority

•Support the fight against gang violence and drug trafficking

•Prioritize city spending through conservative fiscal management

•Continue the open and transparent government

•Review city policies and procedures

•Strengthen relations with businesses

I have pride in our past, faith in our future and a vision of a more stable and secure Placentia. I would be honored to have your vote.
